Horton Update

For those of you with a keen eye and sharp memory, or is it the other way around? Anyway, Wessex Archaeology who excavated the quarry site at Horton in Berkshire and found several house dated to the Neolithic, are holding an open day on Saturday 27th April.  Amongst other things you can see an exhibition on the site, meet some of the archaeologists involved and get to see archaeologist of the year Phil Harding demonstrate his considerable flint-knapping skills! Full details can be found on the Wessex Archaeology website: http://www.wessexarch.co.uk/projects/Berkshire/horton2013/event
